Parents, I want to welcome all of you to a new school year at Dacula High School. It is always exciting as the school years starts and many of your sons are playing fall sports and that adds to the excitement. Not wanting to over work anyone as we are four months from our beginning but I did want to give you some information especially for those who have sons not involved in a fall sport.

First, for those young men playing football or who are running cross country we wish you the best of luck as you prepare for your season. We look forward to our teams successes in the season. You represent a great school and community work hard and good things will happen.

Next, we have been told by our AD that having a fall baseball team cannot happen. GHSA and Gwinnett County rules make it not possible. If you want to play this fall on a team please let me know. Again, we will have off-season work outs and 2 on 1s this fall�cmore on this later.

Also, I need your help and input in how we can attract corporate sponsors for our baseball program. The coaching staff and Dugout club officers will be going to businesses in the coming weeks and sitting down with business leaders and trying to find seven corporate sponsors, please contact me or Chris Bullock with any information you feel would be helpful.

Off-Season Workouts

2011-2012

Parents & Players:

Our off-season workouts begin on Sept. 12 and will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We will increase to Monday thru Thursdays on October 17. Tuesday will be running days (if we have inclement weather we will cancel the running day).

Please plan to have your son picked up in front of the football field house no later than 4:30 on workout days.

Additionally we will start 2 on 1 workouts in October and these will be announced at a later date.

All Workouts are voluntary but strongly encouraged if you are not currently involved in a seasonal sport.

Important Info 2011-2012

Grades-Must pass 5 of six classes with a 70% GPA and must be in line to graduate.

Workouts-Are in the field house weight room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm. They are voluntary but encouraged.
